Exploring Hawaii using Inter Island Flights

You may be used to thinking of Hawaii as one place, but in reality it’s made up of a chain of islands. There are eight principle islands in the chain, the largest one being called “the big island” by locals, although it’s formal name is actually Hawaii. However, if you’re thinking of taking a Hawaiian vacation, you should be aware that not all the attractions you want to see are going to be on the big island of Hawaii. Arizona attractions, an underwater historic site that you view from a platform out in the harbor. There you can see the remains of the battleship Arizona, so heavily damaged by the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that it was left in its watery grave rather than being pulled to the surface for repairs. You’ll need an inter island flight to get from the big island to Pearl Harbor to see it, though. That’s because Pearl Harbor is part of the island of Oahu.
